Firstly decide how many selections you wish to bet on, for example I have chosen to bet on the eventual score line of the Chelsea v Arsenal game, I am going to select 4 score lines that I feel have a chance of coming in those being 1 1, 2 0, 2 1, and 2 2.
2 - Input Selections and Odds top
Now the calculator will appear, all you need to do is put in
(see left):
3 - Equalize
top
The calculator can be used in many ways, what we suggest as a starting point to plan your bet is to always equalize your field, the reason being is to get an idea as to what your winning returns will be as an even value regardless as to which one of your selections wins. So for this demo we shall select the equalizer button. (See above) once you have pressed the equlaizer button what you will then see is what we term the equalizer effect.
This means as is clearly shown that whichever of your chosen score lines come in then your profit return except for the odd penny is exactly the same.
4 - Bias
top
Now that we have a clearer more detailed picture we can really start to plan our strategy using the unique features we have built in to this calculator.
The best way to explain the bias function is by trying it out. Lets say the selection I most favor is 2 0 followed by 1 then 2 1 and my least favored selection is 2 2. So in the bias drop down lists, we set:
5 - Check Bias Results top
Now the calculator returns the biased stakes. Notice how the profits are now biased by £20, that is the profit goes down from choice 1 to choice 4 in increments of £20. You'll also notice an option for 'even', this will bias the stake for the selection to break even.
6a - Add More Selections
top
you may decide that you haven’t covered enough score lines and would like to add an additional 3 2 score line to give you more chance of winning, to do this:
6b - Input New Selection top
Then as before:
Now we can see that we have 5 ways to win with £28.48 being our lowest return and £108.48 being our highest return, if we wish we can simply equalize all the selections again, or we can make some changes to the stake levels or odds levels. The calculator is programmed to recognize any changes and will automatically update accordingly. If I wished I could de activate any one of my selections by simply checking the small box next to the relevant selection, this action simply takes out of the equation that particular selection. The arbonometer as we have called it situated top right simply lets us know what are position is and whether in some cases there is an arb opportunity where we can bet on all possible outcomes and guarantee a win before an event has started.
