1 - Open a new Accumulator top
Firstly decide how many events / races you wish to bet on, then decide how many selections within those chosen events you wish to play with. As an example I choose to bet on football games
- Man U v Arsenal
- Liverpool v Chelsea
- Newcastle v Bolton
- Aston
Villa v Everton
I will bet on correct score lines in which I will try and predict 3 different score lines from each of the 4 games mentioned.
In this case it will be
4 events and 3 selections. (See left).
Once you have done this, select “go”.
2 - Input Selections and Odds top
Once you have pressed, “go” the calculator will then appear, now fill in the event boxes i.e.:
- Man u v Arsenal in event box 1
- Liverpool v Chelsea in event box 2
- Newcastle v Bolton in event box 3
- Aston Villa v Everton in the fourth event box
After this Enter the score lines in the selection boxes, and the odds in the boxes underneath (See below).
3 - Input Unit Stake and Submit top
Now you have to decide on your initial unit stake, for this example I have chosen £1, fill in this box as shown. (See below). Then press submit
4 - Potential Outcome/Position top
The accumulator now shows a detailed view of what your potential outcome / position is. (See below).
- The red column shows the cost of the bets, singles, doubles, trebles etc. and the total e.g.£255
- The Selection return is the value of the return based on the selection you make (more on this below) by default, this
will takes the lowest odds in this case the total is £3527.
- The minimum return always takes the lowest odds, so you have a worst case comparison.
- The profit column is the winnings from you selections minus the costs
5 - Alter Stakes top
Now that we can see how the bet is made up and knowing what the potential returns could be, we can really start to plan and make alterations
- Lets forget about singles, set this to 0
- We'll reduce the stake on doubles to 50p, set this to .5
- We'll leave trebles and accumulator as they are
- Now click submit
6 - Change Selections top
Ok now we have reduced our total stake, to £216, however you feel this is more than you want to bet. Lets take out in the man u game the 3 0 score line and in the Newcastle game the 3 1 score line also.
- Untick the box next to each selection (see above) to be removed
- then press submit.
As you will now see your stake has now reduced to £114.5
7 - Collect your Winnings! top
The results have come in Liverpool win 1 0 Newcastle win 2 0 and Aston villa draw 2 2, unfortunately we lose on the man u arsenal game,simply check the relevant boxes under your successful predicted selections to state that they have come in (see below). In the case of the man u arsenal game simply check the lose box (see above). As you can see you have a winning bet of
